Today our Year 12 students received their Jerseys, marking a proud and symbolic moment in their final year of schooling.

As they step into this year of leadership, responsibility, and growth, we are reminded of Eileen O’Connor’s unwavering courage, compassion, and commitment to serving others. Wearing this jersey is more than a tradition, it’s a sign of the values they carry with them: strength, kindness, and the determination to make a difference.

Our seniors wear their jerseys with pride, knowing they are role models for our younger students and ambassadors of Eileen O’Connor’s legacy. May they continue to lead with heart, serve with humility, and shine brightly throughout their final year.

ATHLETICS CARNIVAL –FRIDAY 31st JULY!

We’re excited for a day full of fun, fitness, and team spirit! Rotational activities will take place at Petersham Park and School from 9:30am, a wonderful chance for students to shine, cheer each other on, and celebrate sportsmanship.

🏃‍♀️ Bring Along: Drink bottles, hats, runners, sunscreen, and plenty of energy and enthusiasm!

👕 Wear your sports uniform proudly

🧺 Parents and carers — bring a picnic blanket! Relax, watch the fun, and enjoy the carnival atmosphere together.

⚽🌍 Jersey Day – Celebrating Diversity & World Cup Spirit!

Today our school burst into colour as students proudly wore their favourite soccer jerseys to celebrate Jersey Day, diversity, and the excitement of the World Cup season.

The playground was alive with energy as students engaged in fun outdoor activities, teamwork challenges, and hands‑on learning experiences inspired by the world’s most loved sport. From friendly kick‑arounds to creative learning tasks, our students embraced the day with joy, confidence and community spirit.

Jersey Day wasn’t just about sport , it was about celebrating who we are, where we come from, and the cultures that make our school so vibrant. Seeing students cheer each other on, share stories about their teams, and learn through play made the day truly special.

🏅 SCS All Abilities Multi‑Sports Day 🏅

Yesterday our students took part in the SCS All Abilities Multi‑Sports Day at Bankstown Basketball Stadium, and the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing.

From the moment they arrived, students were fully engaged, encouraged to try new skills, work as a team, and enjoy a day designed to celebrate inclusion, confidence and fun.

They had the opportunity to participate in Futsal, European Handball and Boccia , three sports that offered different challenges and plenty of excitement.

- In Futsal, students showed quick footwork, teamwork and fast‑paced play.

- European Handball brought out strategy, movement and strong passing skills.

- Boccia offered a calm, focused environment where students demonstrated precision, patience and fantastic sportsmanship.

Throughout the day, our students displayed enthusiasm, resilience and joy, cheering each other on and embracing every opportunity. It was wonderful to see them shine in an inclusive space that celebrates ability, participation and community.

A huge thank you to Sydney Catholic Schools Sport and all staff who supported the event. Our students left with big smiles, new skills and unforgettable memories.

Huge congratulations to our amazing students who represented our school at the NSW Catholic Schools event today. Noah, Yash, Henry, Anthony and Callum all gave it their absolute best, showing determination, pride and incredible school spirit.

We are thrilled to share that Noah and Yash both earned silver medals in their age groups in the Mackillop Championship, while Callum secured a fantastic bronze medal.

Our medal winners will now progress to the NSW All Schools Championships in Term 3 — an outstanding achievement and a testament to their hard work.

Well done to all five boys for representing our community with such heart and commitment. We are so proud of you.
