EOCC is thrilled to celebrate Book Week 2025 with the enchanting theme “Book an Adventure”—a perfect invitation to dive into stories that spark imagination and inspire exploration!

We warmly invite families to join us for a special Book Week Parade celebration on

Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character or an adventurous explorer—whether it’s a brave knight, a curious scientist, or a magical creature from a beloved tale. It’s a chance to bring stories to life and celebrate the joy of reading together as a community.

🌌🔍 Science Week at EOCC – “Decoding the Universe” 🔍🌌

Next week, EOCC will blast off into the cosmos as we celebrate Science Week 2025 with the theme “Decoding the Universe.” From the tiniest particles to the vast mysteries of space, our students will embark on a journey to uncover the secrets of the world around (and beyond!) us.

Throughout the week, classrooms will come alive with hands-on, minds-on activities that spark curiosity and wonder. Whether it's exploring gravity, decoding, or building mini rockets, our young scientists will be thinking big and experimenting boldly.

Science Week is all about asking questions, making discoveries, and having fun—and we can't wait to see the excitement unfold! 🚀🧬🔭

Today, we were privileged to welcome a representative from Services Australia to EOCC for a special information session tailored to our parent and carer community. The session, led by the insightful Bhuvana, focused on the Financial Information Service (FIS) — a free, independent, and confidential resource designed to support families in making informed financial decisions.

Parents received valuable guidance on:
- Understanding financial support options available for their child
- Planning for future milestones, including when their child may begin working
- Accessing tools and education to build financial confidence

This initiative reflects our commitment to equipping families with practical knowledge that empowers them to plan ahead with clarity and care.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Bhuvana and Services Australia for their time and expertise, and for helping our community navigate important financial pathways.

✨ Celebrating a Blessed Milestone ✨

Today, our school community was honoured to receive the Archbishop’s Charter Certificate, presented by Barbara Perry from the Mission and Identity team at Sydney Catholic Schools. This special moment marks a significant milestone in our journey of faith and formation.

Over the past year, through the School Enquiry and Review process, we engaged deeply with the Charter’s 11 guiding principles — reflecting on how they shape our identity, mission, and daily life. The presence of students, staff, and parents at today’s celebration was a testament to our shared commitment to living out the values of Catholic education.
